Once again, Coemar’s lighting technology and solutions have played a key role in a major event: the opening of the Horrea Piperataria, ancient Roman warehouses that once stored Egyptian and Arabian spices. The inauguration of this archaeological site aims to highlight the significance of this ancient logistical hub while offering an immersive experience. Given the unique nature of this indoor environment, Coemar’s Mini LEDko was the top choice. However, despite its high performance, Mini LEDko couldn’t effectively address the moisture-related issues of the Horrea Piperataria site. Therefore, the company’s R&D team was tasked with finding the best alternative solution. The Mini LEDko EXT Profile, a smaller version of the flagship product LEDko EXT, was chosen due to its outstanding light emitted-to-power ratio. The high-definition optics and high lumen flux create a sophisticated lighting system, guiding visitors through the suspended glass walkway. The atmosphere is further enriched by a multimedia narrative featuring sounds, projections and a dynamic switching system that illuminates architectural elements.
